T-Shirt Quilt

From a Mom as she and her 18-year old daughter had their first glance at her T-Shirt Quilt, "Kira, this is your LIFE!"

Each T-Shirt quilt is individually designed using clothing collected and saved from special events and occasions. T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and jerseys with themes from sports to rock concerts, vacations and college sororities can be included. Preserve your memories where you can see and feel them!

Quilts are made with 100% cotton sashing, binding
and backing. A lightweight cotton/poly batting completes the quilt. We use a fusible backing, ironed on to the back of each t-shirt before cutting and sewing together into your quilt. This prevents stretching and adds to the longevity of your quilt. T-shirt quilts are machine quilted in an overall pattern or hand-tied with square knots to the back of the quilt. Washing and care instructions will be provided with each quilt.

This style of quilt can take advantage of the varied size of logos and designs on your garments. The mosaic style can incorporate more shirts, more sections of shirts into the quilt. Sashing may be used, but in a random style. The size and price of this quilt will be dependent on the number of t-shirts you wish to include. Each side of a shirt, pocket or other design counts as one shirt, for example, to use the pocket and back of a shirt counts as 2 shirts.

The crazy quilt allows you to gather many small sections of clothing, small logo or design areas together in one quilt. There is no limit to the number of fabrics and clothing pieces to be used. A wide variety of fabric types lends itself nicely to this style of quilt.
